Wilderness Tribe’s 8-week Bushcraft and Wellbeing retreat days are designed for male carers.
What is a Carers Campfire?
Join us around the campfire, take some you time and speak to other male carers at our ‘Carers Campfire’ Bushcraft sessions.
What to Expect:
Did you know.. men often don’t identify as carers even when in a caring role
So, do you support;
- a family member
- a child
- a friend
- an elderly person
- somebody who is poorly
- a member of the community
- look after grandchildren so your family can work
If, yes, is the answer to any of these, then you are welcome to join our FREE fully funded retreat day in Winsford. Cheshire.
What to Expect:
Our team of facilitators have all attended a Wilderness Tribe programme and worked their way through the Tribe into different roles, we are Tribe members before workers. Some of us are carers too!
We are inviting you to come along and take much-needed time for yourself. We have guest facilitators who will help us relax and be mindful while spending time in nature. There will also be an opportunity to try your hand at some basic bushcraft skills.
I don’t have any outdoor skills, can I still join in?
Yes Absolutely! You don’t have to be Bear Grylls to join in. This is not a traditional bushcraft event, the aim is to spend time in nature together and learn from nature and each other.
Where do you meet?
We meet at two venues in Ellesmere Port and Winsford, with ample parking and good toilet facilities. we even have an indoor space that we can use if the weather really turns against us.
What costs are involved?
This project is fully funded, it is of no cost to you. we understand that sometimes people can only make part of the course which is fine, but please tell us when booking.
